I am sure you have heard the news that Chicago is bidding for the Olympics to be held in Chicago for 2016...what's in it for us?...

....What our area is known for, of course! BIKING! President Obama is travelling this week to meet with the International Olympic Committee to lobby for the 2016 Olympics to be held in Chicago. Decision to be made Friday, October 2nd!

If this happens, Dane County - Madison Wisconsin area is slated to be the top choice for the biking events, which would be the cycling road race, time trial, and off-road competition.

What an economy boost and exciting time that would be! Milwaukee is excited, too, as it is a relatively short drive for such a huge event with plenty of hungry hotels and restaurants.

Let's keep our wheels crossed!
